- The hat is not fitted or tight. This pattern makes the finished hat close to 22” on the inside. Adjustments can be made in gauge or stitches to make this larger or smaller, this is noted (but not SIZED) in the pattern.

- Gauge
- 20 stitches and 40 rows = 4 inches in Garter "at rest", before blocking. Remember, garter ROWS pull together before blocking.
